What do parastas packages include?
A parastas package gathers all the elements of a commemoration into a single order. The family does not have to organise the koliva, colaci, meal, and church coordination separately.
A package is particularly suitable during a period of mourning, when step-by-step organisation is exhausting. We handle the preparations, delivery, and coordination; the family chooses what they wish.
What a package covers
A complete parastas package typically includes:
- Koliva — prepared according to tradition, decorated with a cross
- Colaci — the large colac for the priest and colăcei for participants
- Memorial meal or food parcels — for those present
- Coordination with the priest — booking the memorial service
- Wine and candles — for the service and the commemoration
- Flowers for the grave, on request
Package options
Packages are adapted to the scale of the commemoration and the budget. The most common options are:
- Small package — koliva, colaci, and coordination with the priest, for smaller commemorations
- Standard package — adds the memorial meal or food parcels for a medium number of guests
- Complete package — a full meal, flowers, and all preparations, for major commemorations
For which commemorations are packages used?
Packages can be ordered for any commemorative occasion — from the 40-day service to the annual commemorations. For major commemorations, such as the 40-day service or the one-year parastas, the more comprehensive packages are usually chosen.
For the monthly commemorations and the annual ones, when the circle is smaller, the smaller packages are appropriate. We advise which option suits each commemoration.
What can be personalised?
Every package is adjusted to preference. The family can choose the menu, the number of guests, a meal or food parcels, flowers, and any additional element.
Nothing is fixed. We start from a standard option and adapt it to the family's tradition, budget, and number of people.
How is the price calculated?
The price of a package depends on the number of guests, the type of meal, and the elements chosen. A small package costs less; a complete one with a full meal and flowers costs more.

The parastas package covers the commemoration — koliva, colaci, meal, and coordination. A few elements remain separate, because they relate to other services or to church custom:
- The priest's donation — given directly, according to parish custom
- The burial plot and the monument — separate services
- Work on the grave — cleaning or renovation, if needed
- Additional services specifically requested by the family
