1. Contracting parties
Provider: Echipa De Tocilari SRL (Tax ID/CUI 47591744, Trade Register J40/2298/2023, Str. Arh. Alexandru Zagoritz nr. 12, Sector 2, București, Romania), the funeral house operating under the name sobru.ro.
Beneficiary: family or individual contracting services, identified by ID at first meeting.
Beneficiary's representative: where a person acts on family's behalf (with power of attorney), this person is contractually responsible.
2. Contract object
Contract object: funeral services chosen by beneficiary from sobru.ro offer: funeral package (Essential, Traditional, Cremation, Premium) or individual services (transport, preparation, ceremony).
Specific details (chosen casket, church, cemetery, ceremony date, etc.) are agreed in writing at first meeting and attached to contract.
3. Prices and payments
- Advertised prices are final, per ANPC transparency rules
- All applicable taxes included (VAT, DSP fees, Civil Status fees)
- Payment may be: full at ceremony end, staged (30% advance + rest), or via CNPP funeral aid assignment
- For packages fitting within funeral aid (9,192 RON), family doesn't pay out-of-pocket — all via assignment
- For packages exceeding the aid, difference is staged over 3-6 months
- Invoice issued within 30 days of service completion
4. Contract changes
Changes to contracted elements (casket, church, ceremony date, etc.) are made in writing, by contract addendum signed by both parties. Price differences appear transparently.
Package changes (e.g., from Essential to Traditional) can be made anytime up to ceremony start. Difference paid separately.
5. Contract cancellation
Full cancellation possible anytime up to ceremony start. Costs incurred up to cancellation point (transport performed, formalities paid, casket already picked up) are retained. Rest refunded within 14 business days.
For exceptional cases (death deferred for medico-legal reasons), the family may suspend the contract without penalties.
6. Parties' liability
sobru.ro is liable for delivering contracted services per professional standards, Law 102/2014, and sanitary norms. Our personnel have valid sanitary certifications.
Beneficiary is liable for the accuracy of provided information (documents, deceased details, bank account for refunds). Incorrect data may extend timelines or cause additional costs.
For force majeure cases (calamities, pandemic restrictions, etc.), timelines extend without penalties.
7. Dispute resolution
In case of disagreements, we recommend amicable resolution through direct contact at dpo@sobru.ro or phone.
If no solution is reached, the beneficiary can resort to: (a) ANPC — Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection; (b) SAL — Alternative Dispute Resolution; (c) for disputes with traders in another EU country — the European Consumer Centre (ECC Romania).
Court of final jurisdiction is the tribunal at the provider's headquarters (sobru.ro), per Civil Code.
