FUNERAL CASKETS · ALL WOOD TYPES

Funeral caskets — complete range

The funeral casket is the central element of the ceremony, and its choice depends on family tradition, available budget, and ceremony type (traditional burial, cremation, or repatriation). We offer a complete range — from simple pine (from 800 RON, in the Essential package) to oak, mahogany, or walnut with premium finishes (up to 8,000 RON, for the Premium package). All caskets include padding, funeral linen, and corresponding handles.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

What families ask about funeral caskets

  • Can I see the caskets before choosing?

Yes. At the first meeting we present the physical catalog or, if preferred, you visit our warehouse to see caskets in person. For Premium packages, we can bring samples to your home to choose calmly.

  • Does the casket include padding or is it separate?

All our caskets include satin-finish padding, funeral linen (pillow, sheet), corresponding handles for the wood type, and an identification plate. No additional costs for standard accessories.

  • Can I customize casket inscription or decoration?

Yes. We can apply an identification plate with deceased's name and dates. For Premium packages, wood engraving, customized metal plaques, or symbol application (Orthodox cross, military insignia, religious symbols) are possible.

  • How quickly can I have the chosen casket?

For caskets in current range (pine, poplar, beech, standard oak) — available immediately, within hours of choice. For premium caskets (mahogany, walnut) or customized, 1-3 business days. For urgent cases, we prioritize.

  • What's the price difference between wood types?

Pine is most accessible (800-1,200 RON), poplar and beech are intermediate (1,200-2,200 RON), oak, mahogany, and walnut are premium (2,500-6,500 RON). Difference comes from wood durability, texture beauty, and applied finish.

  • Is the cremation casket different?

Yes, made with unburnable wood (natural pine or poplar, no chemical impregnations), no zinc, no metal handles that don't burn. Required to be cremated at the crematorium. Price is similar to standard pine casket.
