ANPC is the institution that protects your rights as a consumer of funeral services in Romania. Per law, our prices are transparently displayed, contracts are clear, your rights are respected. If you have a problem we can't resolve directly, ANPC is the authority you can turn to.

Your rights as consumer

  • Right to complete and clear information about contracted services
  • Right to transparent prices, no hidden costs
  • Right to service delivery per signed contract
  • Right to invoice for paid services
  • Right to warranty on physical products (casket, monument) — minimum 12 months
  • Right to contract cancellation under specified conditions
  • Right to refund within 14 business days for amounts owed
  • Right to file a complaint in case of problems

How to file a complaint

FIRST STEP — try to resolve directly with us: email dpo@sobru.ro or phone. We respond within 5 business days.

IF NOT RESOLVED — file an official complaint with ANPC. Options:

    3 years from when the problem occurred. We recommend filing as soon as possible to preserve evidence (contracts, invoices, communications).

  • How long does ANPC complaint resolution take?

    Average 30-60 business days. More complex cases (with inspections, hearings) may take 3-6 months. ANPC informs in writing about case status.
