The wake is the moment when family and close friends say goodbye. We organize it fully — either in a prepared chapel or at home — with furniture, candles, candlesticks, and service coordination. The wake is included in the full traditional ceremony package package and can be added to any package.
The wake can be held at home, following tradition, or in a chapel. At home, we prepare the room with the necessary furniture — catafalque, candlesticks, chairs. In a chapel, we rent and prepare the space so the family doesn't have to handle the logistics.
We help you choose the right option based on available space, expected number of people, and family preference.
We prepare the deceased for the wake — cleaning, embalming, cosmetics, dressing in chosen clothes — and set up the space with care. We provide candles, candlesticks, the veil, and flowers.
We also coordinate the wake service with the priest, so that tradition is properly observed. See also our wake organization service.
The wake is included in the our most-chosen package package and can be added to the Essential package. The state funeral aid of 9,192 RON is deducted from the package cost.

Traditionally, the wake lasts one or two nights before the burial. We organize the space for the full period, regardless of the duration chosen by the family.
Yes. The wake is included in the Traditional, but can be added to the Essential too. We give you an exact quote with the wake cost shown separately, if you choose the basic package.
It depends on the chapel and duration. The rental cost is added to the package and we communicate it clearly from the start. See the chapel rental service.
The 9,192 RON aid is deducted from the total package cost, which includes the wake in the Traditional version. Any remaining balance is communicated transparently.
